Accredited Laboratory for Testing the Quality and Energy Efficiency of Solid State Lighting
As an accredited NVLAP laboratory (NVLAP LAB CODE 600195-0) we are recognized to operate in accordance with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system. This demonstrates competency for our scope under the US Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), Energy Efficiency Lighting Products. Moreover, our state-of-the-art photometrics lab and its relevant quality management system complies with the rigorous standards for accurately measuring commercial lighting products.
In addition to the NVLAP accreditation, itl Illuminations Testing Laboratory is a DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Approved LM-79 Testing Laboratory. Accordingly, DLC accepts itl’s IES LM-79 reported results.
itl has established a documented Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with ISO/IEC 17025 and provides for continuous improvement in order to ensure reliable and accurate test results, in a traceable manner, by utilizing published Standards, proven test methods, industry best practices and on-going quality improvement initiatives.
Our commitment to quality of customer service as well as professional conduct and practices is documented throughout our quality management system (QMS) and are a constant effort and focus.
ITL Mission Statement:
Illuminations Testing Laboratory, Inc. (itl) employs the highest levels of quality, integrity, and conformance to regulatory requirements to evaluate and report the safety and performance of lighting products.
